LaCie USB 3.0 External Hard Drive – Faster and Efficient

LaCie unveiled the new external hard drive USB 3.0, equipped with internal shock-absorbing protection and a rubber coating to help protect it from impacts, while the aluminum finish scratch ensures maximum protection of the device even from an aesthetic point of view.

The USB 3.0 interface ensures fast data transfer rates three times higher than their predecessors, up to 110 MB / s. The new 2.5-inch drives at 7,200 RPM is fully backward compatible with USB 2.0 and offers a capacity of 500 GB. The LaCie Rugged USB 3.0 will be available from May at a price of $ 150 (about 112 euro exchange rate).
